My son's story.. I was at work when my wife, Marlyn, called me and told me she was going to make an apointment for Josh to see his doctor. 3 weeks leading up to this call Josh was complaining about headaches nearly everyday. Thining nothing of it my wife and I would just give him a couple ibuprofen and tell him to get some rest. Well... My wife took him in for the appointment and insisted on and MRI. At the MRI clinic 3 doctors told laurie to take Josh to the nearest emergency room.  Josh had a hemorrhaging 3cm tumor in the back of his brain.

Josh was your average 16 year old boy. He played baseball for his highschool. He had great grades. Tons of friends. He was the nicest and most caring person in the world. It was a nightmare for me to get the call from my wife. Expecting good news I dropped to my knees in fear for my son's life. I didnt know what to do. I couldn't believe this was my son this happened to.

Josh went for a craniotamy two and a half days later.. Praying the whole time he would come out alive and well.. My wife and my oldest son Jason were also praying with me. I still cannot believe my 16 year old son has to fight for his life like this. The surgeon was confident he removed all of the tumor. But another test a few weeks later showed that is wasnt all gone. It was determined that since the tumor was  metastatic that it started as lung cancer and spread to his brain. Josh has now gone through radiation 4 times and several operation. My family has gone through such a horrible 12 months. My wife and I  hold Josh's hand every night while he fell asleep for the fear of never being able to again. We have a group of amazing doctors behind him who and trying to save his life.

As a small busines owner my wife and I truly understand what hardship really is. After the volume of medical procedures, a high insurance deductible, and costly travel expenses has created financial pressure on the family in our biggest and most desperate time of need. Please help.
